Easy Chicken Giniling Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg ground chicken

  • 1 large potato, cubed

  • 1 large carrot, cubed

  • 1 & ½ cup frozen green peas

  • 1 can (500 ml) tomato sauce

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped

  • 2 tsp garlic, minced

  • 2 pcs dried bay leaves (or laurel leaves)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Pour the cooking oil in a pan and heat.

  2. When the oil is hot enough, sauté the garlic and the onion until the onion softens.

  3. Add the ground chicken and cook for 5 minutes, over medium heat.

  4. Add the tomato sauce and chicken broth then let it boil.

  5. Add the dried bay leaves then cover and simmer for 35 minutes (add water or more chicken broth if needed).

  6. Add the carrots and potatoes then stir and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.

  7. Add the green peas and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.

  8. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  9. Stir and turn off heat.

  10. Transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
